These are paintings drawings and sketches done while on tour with Art History Students. They will be on display at Grafica Gallery in Webster Groves
Opening reception will be
August 25th 6-9.
Oil Sketches
The work are really quick studies of sitting down and recording the colors, shapes and contrasting light that I saw. These are the faithful record of light, albeit through the filter of an artist.
Vision
The sky changes and water moves as these paintings take shape, it is in the over exaggerations, and mistakes that the work derives its meaning and value.
